This upcoming Monday, December 15, North Carolina Rep. Rodney Moore, state activists, faith leaders, and members of the NC Legislative Black Caucus will unveil the Prohibition of Discriminatory Profiling bill.This unveiling is the culmination of over a year of researching the protections that the legislature should implement to protect all citizens of The Great North State.
December 15–Bill of Rights Day–is a particularly appropriate day to unveil this proposed legislation. It is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to the erosion of the civil liberties of all minorities but not limited to African Americans, our immigrant population, varying religions and the LGBTQ community.
